Are You Interested in a Teaching Career in Elementary Education?

The Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Boise State uses effective, proven approaches to K–8 education that combine academic coursework and hands-on experience.

You will learn to promote high levels of student achievement while preparing your students to become attentive and active world citizens. You will also learn how to support your students as a reflective practitioner, a scholar, a problem solver, and a partner.

The elementary education program places you in local area classrooms while you study teaching as an academic and professional endeavor, and it also leads to a recommendation for certification to the Idaho State Department of Education.
