Finance for Non-Financial Managers

How to Interpret and Use Financial Information with Confidence

If you can add, subtract, multiply and divide, you can use “newly discovered” financial information to benefit you and your firm.

We will cover a broad array of corporate finance topics which will all assist the (non-financial) manager in making sound, well-thought-out decisions and/or a better understanding of what questions to ask.

You will Learn:

  • Introduction to and working with financial statements
  • Financial planning
  • Investment criteria
  • Project evaluation
  • Cost of capital

So You Will Be Able To:

  • Understand the relationships among financial statements
  • Be able to see the financial impact of various managerial decisions, including changes in value, profitability and required financing
  • Understand credit and inventory policies.
