Who Should Take the GRE Preparation Course

Fields of study that typically require or accept the GRE include: Education, medicine, social work, public administration, and business. Many MBA programs now accept the GRE.

Live Online GRE Preparation Course

The GRE measures critical thinking, analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study. The GRE is required for a large variety of master’s degree and doctoral degree programs. Master’s in Education (ME), Social Work (MSW), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Business, and Public Administration programs often require or accept the GRE General exam.

Michael Craig – Michael Craig has taught test taking techniques and study skills for more than a decade. His teaching and training experience includes GRE, GMAT, LSAT, SAT, and ACT exam preparation as well as Advanced Law education.

System Requirements

The Live-Online GRE prep class is offered online using Adobe Connect software. All you need is a high-speed internet connection and an Adobe Flash Player, which can be downloaded for free.
Course materials will be delivered directly to your home, or arrangements can be made for you to pick them up at our Continuing Education Office. We recommend registering at least four (4) days in advance of the class begin date to ensure timely delivery of your student package.

Face-to-Face Classroom Format

The GRE Prep class is ideal for those seeking an advanced degree in a wide range of fields within the next five years. Our comprehensive program covers each of the three main sections of the GRE revised General exam – Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning. We will walk you through each section and prepare you for all of the question types you are likely to encounter on the GRE.

The GRE Prep Course includes: The OFFICIAL GUIDE to the GRE revised General Test, 2nd Edition – the most recent publication from ETS, the official GRE provider. You also receive the GRE Student Workbook, designed to supplement your classroom lessons, and Powerprep II software on CD-ROM, including a complete computer-based GRE practice exam.
