This workshop will lay the groundwork for discovering and exploring your top five StrengthsFinder® themes on an individual level. Analyze your talents using the Gallup StrengthsFinder® 2.0 assessment results in an interactive, informative environment, and explore the role of talents and strengths in the workplace. This session includes action-planning to maximize your strengths for individual performance and application within a team environment. Use this knowledge to understand how your strengths impact others, can be leveraged in leadership, and helping build engaged, effective teams.

Complete the 30-minute online assessment ahead of time, send the “Strengths Insight and Action-Planning Guide” to the instructor 7 days prior to the first day of the course. NOTE: The assessment link will be provided when you register for this workshop.
Katie Thomas – Katie Thomas is an Instructional Designer/Facilitator for the Campus Operations Division at Boise State University. Katie works with departments within the division to support employee, leadership, and organizational development efforts. Trained by Gallup, she is currently implementing the StrengthsFinder® tool within the division to provide employee professional development opportunities, and create a foundation for a culture built on employee strengths in support of their mission. Additionally, she has worked with teammates to develop and deliver the division’s first new employee orientation program and service/brand sessions, used to communicate the mission, vision and goals of the division to all Campus Operations employees.
